Spreading God's Word

SINCE 1939

It all about Jesus! Our desire is to reach people who are far from God. We desire see our city, state and world reached with the Life-Saving Story of Jesus, the Son of God, who lives, forgives, and saves.

We're a church where people are appreciated, valued, and loved.  A church like one giant family where everyone feels at home. A place where everyone is loved, valued, and appreciated. This is who we aspire to be.

Our Leadership

Fred Reaman - Pastor

In 2014 my wife and I moved from Lake Mills, WI, where I had previously served for 8 years. I grew up in north central Iowa, graduated from Iowa State University, and had a fulfilling career in the pork processing industry. I was single in my late 20’s and thought it would be fun to take a short mission trip to Jamaica as a “vacation”. It was a life changing experience and in the following months, discerned that God was leading me in a new direction. After visiting the LC-MS Seminaries, I landed at Concordia Seminary, St Louis. While learning Greek and Hebrew, I met my beautiful, brilliant, talented bride, Inta, who was attending Graduate Schools in St Louis. After our time there was complete, I received a call to serve in Lake Mills, WI. We have been blessed in marriage for over 20 years. My bride and I love spending time with family. We also enjoy hanging out with friends, traveling, concerts, & wilderness activities.

Our Beliefs

Faith and forgiveness are divine gifts from God and they come to us through a relationship of faith with Jesus Christ.

• God’s incredible love for all people should be made known to others.

• We believe in one God, the living Creator of all, holy, sovereign, eternal, and existing in three equal Persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

• We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has an eternal existence, with the Father. The Bible tells us about His work of creation, virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death and bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and continuing ministry and return on judgement day.

• We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convinces of sin, of righteousness and of judgment, and who regenerates, indwells, seals, sanctifies, illuminates and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ, and bestows upon them His gifts as He wills and fills those yielding to Him.

• The Bible speaks about God’s divine & redeeming gifts — two of them are called Sacraments, wherein Jesus promise are joined to specific earthly elements in sacred acts that He has created and given: Holy Baptism and The Lord’s Supper.

Holy Baptism works the forgiveness of sins, and gives salvation to all who believe (Mark 16:16).

The Lord’s Supper works the forgiveness of sins, life and salvation, through the promise of Jesus’ words. The Lord’s Supper, also known as Holy Communion, is celebrated during our weekly worship services.

• Humanity: We believe that Adam was created by God in the image of God as recorded in the Bible’s first book, Genesis. And, by the sin of disobedience Adam, and his wife, Eve, fell from their perfect sinless life. Adam and Eve’s sinful act, inherited spiritual depravity and defilement, infecting every successive generation of the human race. Since that day, all people are imperfect and guilty before God, condemned to physical and spiritual death. This is why we need Jesus, who gave his life to restore a way back to God.

• Everyone has an opinion about Jesus. Maybe you think He’s a teacher or a prophet. Maybe you think He never existed. Many people today, can probably agree that Jesus changed things. We believe He wants a better life for you.

I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.” John 14:6.

• God, the Creator of the universe, has a purpose for you and your life. He loves you. He cares about you. He wants to help you because created the human race and preserves it. This means that is a good God. And because of that, His plans are better than our human plans. We don’t have to measure up to some impossible religious standard to know Him. We just have to take a few steps.

• “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23.

Our “wages”, are what we deserved and earned for our sin is death. But, because of God’s love for us, He had a perfect plan to give us eternal life through a perfect sacrifice in His only Son Jesus. Jesus took our “wage” on the cross with him, He died, 3 days later he rose from the dead, and left the wages of sin in the grave! We are given grace and eternal life because of Jesus.

• “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,‘ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9

• You don’t have to be perfect. Through Jesus’ death on the cross, and then coming back from the dead, Jesus took all of your wrong and gave you all of His right. If you believe that and commit to following Him, your life will never be the same. It’s as simple as repenting of your sin, declaring you want to follow Jesus, and believing He is who He says He is.
Believing in Jesus is the first step on the greatest journey of your life. The best days are yet to come. If you want to learn more about Jesus, send us a note using our contact information. We’d love to meet up for coffee or connect in some way to share more about salvation through Jesus Christ.
